Today, people of difference race and religion in Permatang Pauh overcame various obstacle (intimidation, traffic jams, rain)  to cast a vote for the future of Malaysia. None of this stop the spirit of the voters and all come together with one goal in mind and fulfilled their responsibility. They have made up their mind to Merdekakan Malaysia instead of Merdekakan Permatang Pauh. The whole Malaysia is anticipating it and the people of Permatang Pauh had delivered the victory for the people of Malaysia. Permatang Pauh will lead the way for change and our new YB Permatang Pauh DS Anwar is going to lead the Barisan Rakyat/ Pakatan Rakyat to Putrajaya.

The victory in Permatang Pauh is going to be the best gift for the people in Malaysia in this 51th Merdeka Day. It’s a day that mark our country’s true independence and reformation from the past 50 years of dictatorship ruling from the BN coalition. Malaysiakini reported that Tun Mahathir mourns lack of joy of the people for the Merdeka Day. He is right because he knows that people are depressed, unhappy and lack exuberance. Today, the people of Permatang Pauh brought hope to the whole nation and people are rejoicing for the victory that give the-arrogant-trumpet-mouth-big-fat-liar  BN MPs  a slap in the face for their arrogant boost that they will win even before the election start.

According to Malaysiakini, Saiful swore on the Quran that he never consented the alleged anal intercourse with Anwar Ibrahim. Then, why the court charged DS Anwar saying that it is a consensual act? DSAnwar also claimed that If the sodomy allegation is consensual then why is he the only one being charged? Non consensual means Saiful was raped which is even more ridiculous. This also means the court charges are wrong. Why Saiful didn’t specify this on his police report?

Saiful’s swearing of that non-consented act implies that he was raped. Wow, he was raped so many times and which time is consented and which time is non-consented? A 60 years old man with back pain forcing himself on a 23 young man without his consent, he must have taken a full doze of tongkat ali, viagra, tiger penis, bull penis, ginseng, and kacip fatimah too to get the male vitality. If he was ready to face the world and the reporters, why he refused to answer any questions regarding DS Najib?

I don’t understand why Saiful want to use religion as a medium to prove his stance. I mean he can swear on the Quran any day he wants for the last 2 months but swearing on the eve of the Permatang Pauh nomination is very skeptical of his motives. Well, if he is truly innocent, he is protected by God and swearing on Quran is just an act to convince others to believe something only God knows what is the truth.

It’s disturbing that people start to use religion, particularly Islam to promote justice instead of law. Is the law in Malaysia still relevant when cases like this being interfered by the religion conducts? Well, another question is who exactly witnessed the oath-taking at the mosque? Apparently, it was Saiful’s lawyer Zamri and all the FT Mosque imams. Well, he should have swear it on Quran and being watched live telecasts by all Malaysian! That will be more convincing.

Now, the million dollar question is What if DS Anwar also swear on Quran? That means one of them is lying and it is a grave sin not only because they are lying but they are using Islam as an interference for selfish reason. It’s a high profile case and the interference of religion (swearing oath on Quran) in this case will not solve the problem or gain any credibility because religion and law do not interfere with one another. Moreover, if both of them choose to swear on Quran, the interference of religion will complicated the case and it will also draw negative impression on Islam as one of them might be lying.

God, save Malaysia from being a laughing stock for the rest of the world!
